B. Tech. Candidates must have passed the intermediate exam of the U.P. Board without any grace marks, or the 10+2 level exam or its equivalent from any recognised Board, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any of Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, and Technical Vocational as optional subjects. Candidates had to meet JEE Main the cut-off marks to get admission into the IMS.
