The admission procedure for IITs, NITs and IIITs occur through JoSAA. JoSAA is an authority that admits students based on rank list for which JEE Advanced and Mains are the basis. If you are interested in getting into NIT Trichy then JEE Mains Paper II score would be considered and based on the ranks in the rank list, the admission occurs. There is category-wise mark list for all except General category for which Common Rank List (CRL) is considered.
For general category there was calls in the ranks between 50 and 1550. For all other category, category wise, ranks will be published. You can check the previous year cut-offs by visiting https://josaa.nic.in/webinfocms/Public/View.aspx?page=71
