What is the EWS? Is it applicable in Jee mains?

Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is a term used to refer to those citizens or households with income below a certain threshold level. Though there may be other economic factors in deciding on the economic weakness of the citizen/household, income is the dominant criterion.but it is not appicable in jee mains.There is only category wise reservation in jee mains.

By the latest update, EWS is applicable in jee mains.you can change your category to this in between march 11th and 15th.
