Hello Aspirant,

CBSE board is Central board and it is found in each and every school of India. There are other Centralised boards in India also. Main board is located in Delhi. State boards schools are only in respective states of India as each state in India has their own respective boards and pattern of curriculum.

For eg. Delhi Public School is located in many states of India and follow CBSE course. Little flower School is a private School in Assam state but follows CBSE board, therefore its a CBSE board School.

Hope you are clear with the information

Thank You
