R.A. Podar Ayurved Medical College, founded in the year 1941, Mumbai. It comprises the Ayurveda College, the Ayurvedic Institute for Contemporary Ayurveda Research Education, and the Ayurveda Hospital. R.A. Podar Ayurved Medical College offers programs like BAMS with a duration of 5 ½ years, MD/MS course with three years course period, and Ph.D. in Ayurved with a 2years minimum course duration.

R.A. Podar Ayurved Medical College, BAMS fee structure is 41250 rupees for the complete course, per annum fee is approximately INR 7500. MS/MD course fee is 15000 rupees, per year fee structure is INR 5000.

In RAPAMC, BAMS's total intake is 60. The admission is based on CET score, MD/MS course full capacity is around 20 to 25, and selection to the course is based on marks secured in PG Ayurved Centralized entrance test conducted in January or February.

An internship facility is provided to all deserving aspirants with a stipend offered per month.

Hostels are available to students with good infrastructure and other facilities. Hostel fees in RAPAMC are around INR 2500 yearly.
