Hello,
The authority  conducts seven rounds of JoSAA seat allotment. Candidates will be allotted colleges and branches basis their rank, category, preferences and seat availability. In order to view the results of JoSAA seat allotment, candidates will have to login on the official website using their JEE Main/jee Advanced roll number and password.

JoSAA will declare the round 1 seat allotment results in the fourth week of June. 100% seats will be offered in the round 1 JoSAA seat allotment result. Candidates will have to report at the allotted institutes along with the required document, basis their rank. Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotment in the first round will have the opportunity to freeze, float or slide the allotment result.

Candidates will have the following options to choose from after the announcement of seat allotment results:

Freeze:This means that candidates have accepted the offered seat and are content with the allocated academic program. They do not want to participate in further rounds of seat allocation. Such candidates will NOT be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.

Float:This means that candidates have accepted the offered seat and that if admission to an academic program of better/higher preference in any institute is offered, they will accept it. Else, they will continue with the currently accepted academic program. Such candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission.

Slide:This means that candidates have accepted the offered seat and that if admission to an academic program of better / higher preference is offered within the same Institute, they will accept it. Such candidates will be considered in subsequent rounds of admission

Candidates should note that the above options are valid till the sixth round of seat allotment result. Round seven is the last and final round where no request of withdrawal or change will be accepted.
