To be eligible for JEE Main and admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, you'll need to meet the following minimum criteria:
JEE Main Eligibility Criteria
1. *Qualifying Exam*: You must have passed or appeared in the 12th standard or equivalent examination.
2. *Age Limit*: There's no age limit for JEE Main.
3. *Subjects*: You must have studied Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (or Biology, Biotechnology, or Technical Vocational Subject) in your 12th standard.
4. *JEE Main Marks*: There's no minimum mark requirement in JEE Main to participate in the exam. However, you'll need to score well to qualify for JEE Advanced or admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
Board Marks Eligibility Criteria
1. *Minimum Marks*: You must have scored at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in your 12th standard or equivalent examination.
2. *Top 20 Percentile*: You must be in the top 20 percentile of your 12th standard board examination.
