Hello,
Before answering your question let me tell you that securing a seat in an nit mainly depends on the all india rank but not on the percentile. To answer your question in order to secure a seat in an nit a general category student need at least 96% while the reserved sc and st category can get into an nit by scoring anywhere between 88 to 90.
