General Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS) - 10%
Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 27%
Planned Caste (SC) - 15%

As per the rules of the central government, the government funded technical Institutions and the central universities have to provide 27% of the seats reserved for the other backward classes, 15% of the seats for scheduled castes, 7.5 % of the seeds for Scheduled Tribes, and 10% of the seats reserved for economically weaker sections.
