You can check UPSEE website to see previous year's ranking for college's intake for students taking admission via counselling.

Generally, for HBTI Kanpur.. general rank ranges from 1~300 for different courses.

While to opt in any other courses.. you still need a rank < 700~1000 with or without any quota.

P.S. :- as you have asked for how much score is required in UPSEE exam, then for a safe side your score should be around atleast 440~480.

But ..the maximum marks for the exam is 400

Oh I am so sorry, there I mentioned marks was actually rank, you need 440~480 rank for safer side..!!
