Hi Master,

I think your question is incomplete because neither you've mentioned your college name nor the course. So, it is very difficult to answer to meet your expectations. But still, I can answer on the behalf of engineers.

The salary hike varies from person to person and from company to company. The main factor in determining the hike in salary is the skills and the colleges along with the trade one have taken in their college time.

So, An average software engineer from TIER 3 can expect a starting salary of about 3.5 LPA and sometimes more if the company is product-based. After doing the job for 2 years, an individual can apply to other companies which provides a hike of about 15%-25% or sometimes about 60%, everything depends upon the skills. If the individual does the job for 2 years in that company then he/she has an experience of 4 years.

Now, the individual can easily get a hike of about 75% in their previous salary. So coming in numbers, you can expect salary after 6 years it would be around 1.5 LPA per month.

Thank you!!
