Hello Ravi,As per the revised UGC Pay norms, the starting salary of an assistant professor is Rs 57,700+ Rs 6,000 as grade pay and it can go up to Rs. 1,31,400+ Rs 9,000 as grade pay (This depends on the seniority level of the assistant professor).
