You can do one of the following things

Research

If you would like to persue your career in Research and Development then you must appear for CSIR-NET exam twice in a year. If you qualify then you will get opportunity to do PhD from IISC,CSIR,UNIVERSITY, NIT'S.

2.Teaching

If you qualify CSIR lectureship exam you get lecturer job in Degree or Engineering or Intermediate colleges.

If you are an IITIAN or NITian you may get lecturer job in reputed coaching institutions like NARAYANA, AKASH,BANSAL.

3.Industry

Qualify GATE exam with good rank then you may get job in IOCL,HPCL,ONGC,NTPC,BCPL.

WITHOUT qualifying any exam you can join Private industries like paint,cement,pharmaceutical as QC trainee.

4.Govt Jobs.

Every year UPSC conducting Geoscientists exam appear for that.
