Biotechnology field is still developing in India. If we compare this field from engineering other branches then it has less scope and less jobs.

You can findv jobs in both private and public sector in this field.

After a BTech degree, students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs and institutions in India.

There are some fields in Biotechnology which have good demand you can check below

Healthcare
Medicine
Pharmaceutical
Agriculture
Animal husbandry
Genetic engineering
Environmental conservation
Soil biology
Ecology
Textile industry
Cosmetics
Freshers can expect a monthly salary in the range of Rs.8,000 to Rs.20,000.
With increase in level of experience, there is abundant scope for getting better salary.
