What is the System of going into Indian army

There are quite few possible ways through which you can join Indian Army. Here is the list of 10 ways in which you can join Indian Army.
- National Defence Academy- You'll be well aware about this. Age- 16 and half to 19 and half. Qualification-10+2
- 10+2 Technical Entry- Same requirement as NDA + 70% in 10+2 in PCM.
- Combine Defence Service Examination (CDSE)- Twice a year exam take place. Graduate or final Year students can appear for the exam.
- Short Sevice Commission (Non Tech)- Graduate
- Short Sevice Commission (Tech Men & Women)- B.E/B.TECH stream of Engineering, B.Arch, MSC in Computers.
- NCC Special (Men & Women)- 50% in graduation with " A" or "B" grade in NCC "C" certificate. When you are in final year you can apply for it also.
- TGC- Technical Graduate Commission. It is also known as TGC 129. Every year forms are made available for the Engineering graduate or final year engineering students. Age limit- 20-27 years as per the notification.
- JAG (Men & Women)- Judge Advocate General Entry.-Law graduates with minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB and between 21 to 27 years of age can apply for Judge Advocate General Branch. Eligible candidates are called for direct SSB interview and medical test, thereafter. It is a Short Service Commission Entry wherein suitable candidates can opt for Permanent Commission.
- UES- University Entry Scheme. Almost every year they also release form for the entry. Applying applicants for Indian Army University Entry Scheme must be male and unmarried Engineering Degree students studying in Pre-Final Year (III Year) in academic session.
- Territorial Army- The Territorial Army is part of Regular Army and its present role is to relieve the Regular Army from static duties and assist civil administration in dealing with natural calamities and maintenance of essential services in situations where life of the communities is affected or the Security of the Country is threatened and to provide units for Regulars Army as and when required.

Hi Aspirant! Qualifying the exam of NDA that would lead you in serving the nation as soldier . The NDA Exam, conducted at 41 centres across the country, is followed by intelligence & personality test by the Services Selection Board (SSB) for the shortlisted candidates.
