Hello Aspirant,

See there is no fixed maximum number of marks because it can vary depending upon difficulty level of paper which is decided every year by different IITs, for e.g. this year IIT Delhi conducted the JEE-Advance paper for total marks of 306 but in 2019 it was 372. If you are preparing for JEE-Advance 2021 or for upcoming years then you should take a note of this, you should secure your rank under 7,000 for getting seat in top IITs with General category. Also note that there are sectional cut-offs in JEE-Advance which a candidate needs to clear in order to become eligible for admission in any institution through JEE-Advance score.
