The eligibility of the MSC software is a pass in the higher secondary examination with mathematics and physics as of the four subjects of study.

Shortlisted candidates who have an excellent record in higher secondary examination in (maths/physics)as two subjects of study are assessed by an online test (English/Tamil).

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of online test and judged by their performance in an interview cum counselling.

The online test will be based on a secondary mathematical portion of applications of matrices and determinates function of graphs, differential calculus, integral calculus, differential equations, analytical geometry, vector algebra and probability.
