Hello dear,

CAT is one of the toughest exam for MBA. But as they say, we can climb Everest with planning, strategy, dedicqtion and aiming. A little planning and plotting can help you crack exam.

First of all try joining some coaching class for it. This is because, cat is all about speed, shortcuts and coaching class help us providing with that. Also daily practice of those shortcuts, tips and tricks is required. Now while studying you tend to develop your own tricks, and these tricks help alot.

Solving mock question papers, reading journals, newspapers, watching news channels and english english movies can help you with english part of CAT examination.

Dedicating a good 8 to 10 hrs daily to cat preparation is recommended. And solving mock papers every 3 days.

All the best, try doing all the things and you are good to go.

Hello Debarati Kundu,

CAT is conducted by IIM every year.

Difficulty level of CAT keeps on changing. So, accordingly you need to practice the question, since it requires overall 90+ and sectional cutoff above 75 to fetch you a call.

From my opinion, I would suggest

QA : Practice Arun Sharma QA book questions. Try to solve LOD 1 and 2 furtger then move to LOD 3. These questions are basically CAT level questions .

DI-LR : Practice as many sets as possible of Di-lr. Because its highly unpredictable whether you will get a gist of set or not to solve it further.

VA-RC : Improve reading speed , solve RC from RC book by Arun sharma book.

Arun sharma as well as Arihant and McGrew Hills Book are available to get a gist of these CAT level questions. Try to get TIME or CL material to get exact CAT level questions and mocks too.

Hope your doubts are cleared.

All the best.
