what marks i get for one correct answer in jee mains and what about negative marking?

You will get four marks for one correct answer and if your answer is wrong then you will loose one mark . There are four marks for every correct answer and negative marks for incorrect answer . Fir example out if 10 questions you have attempted 8 questions . 4 of your answers are correct and four are wrong so for four correct answers you will get 4×4 = 16 marks , now for four incorrect answers 4 marks will be deducted from 16 ie 16-4= 12 marks you will get

JE mains exam is divided in two papers paper 1 and paper 2. In paper 1 students who are interested for BTech and BE courses appear while paper 2 is for B arch students. So as far as the marking scheme is concerned if you will attempt a right question then you will be awarded with 4 marks while for one wrong question you will be given negative one marks.
