Hello,
In JEE advanced you need to score 200+ for good branches in IITs. The more higher you score more is chances of getting branches of your choice and preferability.

Guru Prasad it depends upon the students preparation how he / she have prepared for the JEE Advance . That's why all students will not able to get into the IIT if all can able to enter in IIT then IIT will not be considered as an elite institutes of India . Based upon the cuttoff only you can be able to enter into the IIT. Below the link is given through which you can able to check the cuttoff in JEE Advance inorder to get into the IIT .
