Hi Shikha,

It means that, upgradation of seats locked in round 1.

To make you understand it well lets take an example, you gave 6 colleges as preferences, got alloted into 5th college, if in the round 2 of seat allotment if seat is available in the more highly preferred college then your seat will be alloted in that college.
