For M.Tech admission in IITs , post-graduation percentage is not required if you have a B.Tech/B.E. degree. Admission is based on GATE score .

If you are applying with an M.Sc. (for science streams like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.) , you generally need at least 55% (General/OBC) or 50% (SC/ST/PwD) in post-graduation, along with a valid GATE score .
