Since their have been varied irregularities in the rank vs marks indictaion that predicting the rank seems to be all the more difficult, accordingly TANCET sometimes have less number of students appearing for the exam and sometimes the number soars as high as 45-50 thousands. So accordingly your rank may even go below 2000. Don't worry and keep preparing. It's just a matter of time , will and perseverance.

Dear Arjun,

Well you have not mentioned your category. This year in open category the expected cut off for TANCET is around 37. So it will be difficult for you if you belong to open category. And regarding the rank it may fluctuate as compared to the previous year. You will have a rank within 1000-1500.
