570 for all india quota seats

500 for high competitive states

480 for less competitive states

Maharastra belongs to high competitive state and the aiq cutoff is also near 600 marks.

Dear Student,

There is nothing called passing marks in NEET Exam. In NEET, it is qualifying marks rather which is 50th percentile for general category and 40th percentile for reserved categories. Try to score 550+. Then you'll definitely get a good medical college.

If you want to score good marks in NEET then just follow simple steps. Here are Some GOLDEN tips for the preparation of NEET.

1. Make you own time table , Shorter and achievable small targets.
2. Focus on limited books - NCERT + Some reference
3.Finish your full syllabus n a fixed time frame of 3-4
4. Solve MCQS daily in a time limit - Understand where you are doing most mistakes, Correct it, retry
5.Whatever you study throughout the day make sure that you revise before going to the bed
6.Concentrate More on weaker subject
7.Give equal important to all the three subjects.
8.Understand all options of previous year MCQS ...As EXACT question is not repeated BUT related questions are....
9.Give mock test in between to assess yourself.
10. Have patience and be positive
11.POSITIVE SURROUDING - Discuss with friends who can help you stay positive not the one who brings negativity.
12.Correct your mistakes
13.Maintain your health
Don't think about the result. Be cool and devise a strategy for solving the paper, like which subject to attend first, what time is to be given for each subject, rough work to be done with pencil, leaving doubted questions initially, etc.

Above points will definitely help you. Best of luck !

The state of Maharashtra is a competitive one in such cases the state cutoff rises to 550 throgh state quota and near 600 through all india quota

Greetings,
It is with utter disappointment that I inform you that it is impossible to determine the cut off marks for a particular state in the examination. Candidates appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination may refer to previous years' cut off marks as a whole for the examination but not for any particular state as such.
There are two ranks provided to each of the candidates appearing for the examination. One is the All India Rank and the other is the Regional or State Rank. Candidates may choose from either of the two in order to test their eligibility for admission to any of the medical colleges spread across the country.
The cut off marks varies from year to year and so only an approximate can be determined from the evaluation of previous years' cut off.
I hope this piece of information proves to be of some help to you.

Hi Tanaji!

Usually for any government college in Mumbai, a score of 570 and above is good enough but this is not guarantee. Admission is based on your category, the quotas and most importantl, your rank.

Hope this answers your question!

Dear Tanaji, a score above 550 will secure you a seat in Mumbai. But that's not quite easy. You'll have to work tremendously hard for that and sacrifice a lot. Nothing is impossible. All the best for your exams and give it your best my friend.
