Candidates who want to attend a health professional school, which includes Allopathic, Osteopathic, Podiatric, and Veterinary Medicine, are required to take the MCAT for Indian students. Those who have completed (or are pursuing) an MBBS degree are not required to have a special authorisation to sit for the exam. International students and undergraduates can also take the exam if they wish to apply to medical schools.
