Assuming that you ask for the minimum marks required by an open category candidate, there are three cutoffs that you can look for according to NEET 2017 Government colleges - around 500 Private colleges - state rank under 4000 with marks around 420 Deemed universities - this depends on region the college is in and usually easy to get into, by merely clearing the NEET cutoff.

Namaskar Aniket. Thank you for asking the question. We at Career 360 will help you to solve queries as possible. The minimum marks that you require to acquire a government seat in MBBS. 1. You have to score at least 50 percent marks in the board exams in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Also, the eligibility for the college is through the percentile and not the percentage. Live Long and Prosper. Nitish Nadkarni.

Hi Aniket,
As per your query about marks cutoff.. I would like to tell you it varies very year... It depends on lots of factors like difficulty level of paper and number of students getting that mark etc... It also depends on.. It will be different for Government, Private and Deemed medical colleges.... Also it will differ you applying from All india quota 15% or State quota 85%... Cut off of state quota is usually lower than all india quota.... Now in each of these quota its further divided into categories like OPEN/SC/ST/OBC..... Etc..
But if we go by last year trends it should be around 450 - 500 in general category government college

Hopefully it helps

See there is no minimum marks as such which can be said to be enough for entering any college anywhere in the country as the cutoff marks vary each year and each time as it depends on the quality of paper appeared and upon the number of students appeared and many more factors you can just predicted a range of marks I.e. about 500 above as per last year cutoff but listen your admission totally depends on ur SML of ur state and in Maharashtra if your SML is inside 2000 you are damn sure to get government seat and if inside 4000 you can grab a semi government seat.
