Well, Diploma covers a varied range of theoretical concepts which are used in practical applications of the stream.And since the final years of B.tech involves a lot of practical work, I think B.tech would be a wise choice for you to gain an overall knowledge of your stream.

Both the degree offers same value. No degree is superior over other. Difference between both the courses is B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive than the BE course which is more theoretical.
