what should I do after mbbs to become a cardiac surgeon

Hello student

To become a cardiac surgeon after MBBS you need to do

MS or DNB that is general surgery for 3 years

And then followed by

MCH or DNB that's cardiothoracic surgery that's for 3 years

Then you would become a cardiac surgeon

There are many types as in, adult cardiac, heart and lung transplant surgery etc
