B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology is a 3 year under-graduate degree program, the minimum eligibility is the 12th class in science from a recognized school board or its equivalent exam.

Postgraduates are hired in capacities such as Animal Breeder, Animal Behaviourist, Animal Caretaker, Animal Physiologist, Animal Rehabilitator, Animal Trainer, Animal and Wildlife Educator, Conservationist, Documentary Maker, Forensic Expert, Lab Technician, Researcher, Veterinarian, Wildlife Biologist, Zoo Curator, Zoo Keeper etc.Hope this helps you.

Aftet completing Bsc. You can go for MSc., it is the most conventional choice.



  • Then you  an complete your PhD. from good universities.
  • Appear for competitive exams like banking, railways, SSC, UPSC etc.
  • If you want to go in teaching line then appear for B. Ed.
  • Research field has diverse opportunities if you have interest in research works.
  • You can do MS (equivalent to MSc. In India) from foreign countries and for that you have to appear for GRE and Toefl exam.
