Hello,
.
For being an astrophysics you need to opt for BSC stream with astrophysics course.
.
BSC in astrophysics and later with master level courses will  help you to be a astrophysicist.
.
Candidate must be 10+2 passed with physics  maths and chemistry with atleast 50%, Eligiblity criteria varies from college to college.  BSC astrophysics is a 3 years course

Greetings, aspirant!

Astrophysics is a field primarily focused on research. In order to become an astrophysicist in India, you need to pursue an undergraduate degree that has physics as it's core subject. After which, you need to pursue a master's in the same. Once you've finished your masters, you can join an institution that offers a PhD in astronomy related courses.

As for your question, you can pursue a degree such as B.Sc in Physics or an engineering degree that's focused on Physics as it's core subject.

Hope this information helped you.

Best of luck!!
