Hello Aspirant,

I am not sure whether your question is concerned about aerospace or aeronautical engineering.
But both are same and they deal with aircrafts.
There are various career opportunities and the demand for aerospace is going to increase in coming future.

To get a good job it is obvious that you must possess relevant skills and interest in mathematics, fluid mechanics, aircraft designing, material science, aircraft structure etc. You have large number of opportunities in India as well as abroad.

There are various GOVERNMENT SECTORS which takes Aerospace/ Aeronautical engineer

  • ISRO

  • HAL

  • DRDO

  • DEFENCE

Hello Harsha,

After completion of your engineering degree, if you want to apply for the govt. engineering job IES would be the best option for you. To become an officer of the IES cadre you will have to give the UPSC civil servises examination and thereby you'll be posted as an engineer in the govt. institutions.
