what to do after class 12 to become a pilot if i took pcb in class 12??
Hello,
To become a pilot you need physics and mathematics is compulsory in 10+2 level. As you did not have mathematics in your 10+2 level you are not eligible. You now have to give mathematics exams which is conducted by NIOS so that you will be eligible to peruse pilot career. After clearing the maths exam and having 50% aggregate in Physics and mathematics you will be eligible to join any pilot training academy and become a pilot. National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) conducts Senior Secondary examination twice a year, in March/April and in October/November. The NIOS 12th exam 2020 will be conducted in Hindi, English, Urdu, Bengali, Tamil, Punjabi, Odiya and Sanskrit medium. Please click the below link to know more about NIOS.
Yes, a Physics, Chemistry and Biology student can become a pilot by enrolling for Physics while entering the academic year of Second your junior college (SYJC) or if some student doesn't know about this while entering the academic year of SYJC then he or she will have to give a separate exam for physics after passing the 12th- grade exam with an aggregate of 60% in PCM.
After passing the 12th-grade exam he or she has 3 options like:-
- Commercial pilot
- Private Pilot
- Indian Air Force Fighter/Transport/Helicopter Pilot
- Indian Army Pilot
- Indian Navy fighter/Helicopter Pilot
- Commercial Pilot:-
For an aviation aspirant to be a commercial pilot one needs to have huge wealth in terms of money or one needs to be top-ranked in his or her studies to join Government Flying Schools! So after completing 12th-grade board exams with an aggregate of 60% in PCM and after that, the process is very smooth and also one needs to obtain a PPL (Private Pilot Licence) in order to study and opt for Commercial Pilot Training and Licence according to the Directorate General Of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Government based flying authority in India. Also if one needs to join an airline he or she has to obtain a type rating from the DGCA certified flying school and should be of a minimum age 18years - 23years and should have a Class 1 and Class 2 medical certificate obtained from a DGCA Certified Doctor.
