Hey.

The cut off for admission in any of the National Law Universities through CLAT in the previous year was a rank in the range of 1600 for the general category. Usually there are vacancies in the lower NLUs as people leave their seats for other colleges. But vacancies are very uncertain and you might/ might not have a chance. Also, if you have other options various non NLU law colleges and even private colleges are better than the lower tier NLUs. So you can prefer joining those instead of  only relying upon vacancies.

Usually in Vacancies the maximum rank goes up to is 3000-3500 for the general category. It is usually lower than this range. Also each NLU deals with the procedure for filing up vacancies on it's own. So the last rank depends on various factors like number of applications, number of vacancies. Hence as I've already said that it's very unsure.
