98.0575575 percentile means your expected rank would be around 16,880. The process is simple,
(100 - your percentile) x (869010/100) as the number of candidates appeared in the January session was 8,69,010.
Now if the number of candidates in September Session increases your rank would also increase. Also the September session has not yet conducted so the number of candidates appeared in the September session is unknown to us. Both the sessions of Jee Main have not yet conducted, so we don't have category rank yet. the rank of a candidate repends on various factors so it is quite difficult to predict. Now almost all the general category candidates fall under EWS category so it is difficult to predict your actual rank in EWS.

Hello,
Your EWS rank at 98.05 percentile will be around 2600-3000 as per the previous year figures.
But considering the gap of around 5 months, you could expect some change.
Hope that helps;

Hello Yagnik,
By my experience you need to do some research and keep in mind the following give below
Your NTA score

Total number of students who have appeared for the exam

Percentage of students below or equal to your marks

Percentage of students above your marks

Number of students above your marks

Then you need to calculate-
((100 P)/100)*N + 1=(Your Rank)

Your NTA score =P

Total Number of Students =N

Percentage of students below or equal to your marks =P

Example: if you have secured a 70 percentile in JEE Main, which means that 70% of the candidates who appeared for JEE Main are below or at the same level as you are
Percentage of students above your marks =100-P

Number of students above your marks=
((100 P)/100)*N

Hope so you understood,
