What would be the average starting salary as an electrical engineer after completing B.Tech from NIT Trichy?

Hello Chandan,

There are a lot of aspects that go into answering this question. The top ones being your CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) and the field you’re hoping to get into. If you’re hoping to get into the core electrical field and have a CGPA > 9.0, you can expect a package anywhere between 15 and 22 LPA. Students with GPAs under 9.0 generally get recruited into software development roles / consulting roles. For such a job, your salary could be anywhere between 4 LPA and 15 LPA.
