Dear Aspirant,

I would have better judged your plausibility to obtain a government college in Tamil Nadu for BNYS or Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic sciences. It depends a lot on the particular Category that you belong too.

In order to get Tamil Nadu BNYS government college, you need to have secured the qualifying NEET marks of the state.

For general category, the cutoff is close to 145.

For OBC, the cutoff is 130

For SC, it is 120 and for ST,it is 117.

So you can see that this is only the qualifying marks. However, admission is provided to only those students who have secured a higher marks or a better rank. Reservation Category plays its own role. The number of seats available for the course is extremely limited and infact it is so limited in government colleges that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants.

Apply to JSS University Mysore 2025

So I hope you understand the intensity of the competition. You shall have great chances of getting a BNSY course seat in government Institutes of TAMIL NADU if you score a NEET marks of atleast 350 out of 720. Only then you can have some solid chances of getting a government seat.

You could also explore some private institutes that offer the same course which are better than some government institutes. Before joining any such colleges, you should compare such colleges against each other to know by yourself which is the best college for you to pursue graduation.
