Here is the qualifying percentage of marks for NEET 2020.
- Candidates must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to the general category must have scored a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Other Backward should have a minimum score of 40% in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates who belong to the General category and are applying under the Persons with Disability (PWD) Quota, must have a minimum score of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

It is called cut off and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. But the formula to calculate the cut offs is simple. It is 50 percentile of the top NEET score for General Category and 45 percentile for General Category-PWD. For OBC,SC,ST, OBC-PWD, SC-PWD and ST-PWD, it is 40 percentile of the top NEET score. In 2019, it was 134-701 for General Category and for OBC,SC,ST it was 107-133.
Minimum qualifying marks needed as per NEET Eligibility criteria is as follows:
General category- 50% , General-PWD- 45%, SC/ST/OBC- 40%. .
Also the minimum marks needed to crack NEET is 350. Must score 50 percentile for UR and 40 percentile for SC/ST/OBC Category.
