Hi

NTA does not release  dress code for JEE main examination but yes admit card doesn't mention that :-

-) you should not wear shoes or footwear which have thick soles

-)you should not wear clothes with big buttons

Also, keep following things in mind while dressing up for JEE main examination :-

-) you should not wear cap / Goggles  etc.

-) you should not wear anything which has metals as it will cause problem during frisking as you'll have to go through metal detector

-) you should not wear any kind of jewellery

So, you should dress simple for your JEE main examination

If because of your religion or customs you wear specific clothes then you need to report to the examination centre early so that you can be frisked properly

To help you further, the list of things that you need to carry to your jee main  examination centre is a provided below :-

  • Your jee main admit card

  • Duly filled self  undertaking/ declaration which has been released along with your admit card, you need to fill it and carry.

  • original Id proof i. e any one of :-

- )your Aadhaar Card

-) or PAN Card

-)or Driving License

-)or Passport

-) or Voter Id

-)or Ration Card

  • your passport size photograph, same as uploaded by you in the JEE main application form, to be pasted on attendance sheet.

  • PWD certificate , if applicable.

  • For those giving jee main paper 2 for B. Arch need to carry their  own geometry box, pencils, erasers,  crayons colour pencils for drawing test

  • a transparent ball point pen.

  • a small hand sanitizer (50 ml).

  • a transparent water bottle.

  • gloves and mask

  • fruits or sugar tablets (in case if you are diabetic candidates)

Now that,

limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
