Bachelor of pharmacy is an undergraduate four years course. Whenever a cure for a disease is found, the Pharmacy has a really big role in researching and testing it before it is available for treatment.

One studies the topics related to medical field during the course as:

• Pharmacology
• Industrial pharmacy
• Herbals
• Cosmetic Science
• Advanced Instrumentation Techniques

It is a field in which even candidates from PCM background, can pursue medical field.

Companies like Lupin, Cipla, Pfizer, Piramal etc. comes for the recruitment in the colleges.

It depends from college to college but generally admission starts from June month onwards and classes starts from August month. However, I suggest you to check your target colleges website along with there eligibility criteria. You might need to give an entrance test for taking admission.
