It isnt clear if you are enquiring about NEET 2020 or NEET 2021. If it is anout NEET 2020, the application process has closed and now NTA also has released the fresh schedule for NEET 2020 and is scheduled for September 13th. And so now you cannot apply for NEET.

But if you are enquiring about NEET 2021, it is usually conducted on the first Sunday of May. But this year due to Corona Pandemic, as NEET 2020 has been pushed to September, it is yet to be seen as to how would NEET 2021 be scheduled. Usually the NEET online applications are released during the month of December but as the Academic session in most of the States hasn't started, it needs to be seen as to how things unfold. But if you are planning on appearing for NEET 2021, you need to be 17 years atleast by December 31st of 2021 and to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. If you are preparing for NEET 2021, please stick to NCERT books as MHRD did announce that NEET 2021 will be conducted with reduced and revised syllabus. But the syllabus hasn't been officially released. So sticking to NCERT books is a better idea rather than buying any books from the market for preparation.
