The admission process is designed to factor both your accomplishments and your potential. Therefore, the following components are used in deciding on your request

ACADEMIC RECORD

A sound and consistent scholastic record is a good starting point. A minimum score of 50% is expected at the X, XII and graduate levels. A post-graduate degree, diploma, work experience, internship although not essential, would be an advantage.

POST-EDUCATION EXPERIENCE

Other factors remaining the same, post-education relevant professional experience of at least 18 months would be a definite advantage.

COMMUNICATION

A key trait expected is fluent and effective communication in English – both oral and written. Selected students are encouraged to learn an additional language – local or foreign. Communication skills are tested through an essay to be written in 20 minutes, on one of three topics provided for the purpose; and an extempore presentation for 3 minutes on a topic to be chosen from a list of contemporary topics.

APTITUDE AND ATTITUDE

A post-graduate program in business management requires an appetite for business-related courses and a positive orientation. These are assessed during an interview designed to test technical knowledge, inter-personal skills and general business awareness. Aspiring students are expected to have written and scored well in any of the recognized aptitude tests.
