Structural Engineering is usually the most preffered branch in civil eng for mtech. But it can purely depend on your interests. Structural is considered to have more scope because it is one of the most core subjects in Civil Engineering.  Then comes Transportation, Environmental, GT. These branches have somewhat equal importance. Then there is WRE, Construction management .  It think first of all clear your mind and then think about which branch you want to take. Go through the syllabuses, ask your seniors about the subjects. All the best!!!
