It totally depends on your abilities and your areas of interests. Your graduation stream doesn't decide what you would do in MBA. I'm a fashion technology graduate pursuing International Business but I did find a link between the two which makes it easier but even if you don't find, it doesn't matter as long as you convince the interview panel about your interests. Before choosing your stream, read a lot of articles on Finance, marketing strategies, international business affairs, lean manufacturing and production technologies, etc.

Hello buddy,

It's not like that if you're a mechanical engineer you have to opt for a specific domain in management. Management is all about managing or handling a team of graduates for a specific goal. You can opt for any domain in management. Most preferred domain HRM and BM. In both these domain success rate is very high. You will have to adhere to your management studies very seriously so that you can achieve a lot.

Hope it helped you

Good luck...

For Mechanical engineering students, The nost preferred brnach is MBA in Operations.

Tgis branch is Resonance with Mechanical engineering curriculum and has relevant ropics into Management aspects like Supply chain management, Ecommerce logistics, Tracking, Manufacturing, Purchase, Procurement.

You can also go for MBA in Marketing and Finance, Which are neutral and can be taken up if you're quite interested as both of them have great scope an djob opportunities.

Ho6, Taking Up MBA In HR shall b emismatch and not recommended.

Hi Samyak,

For Mechanical Engineers the most appropriate MBA specialisation could be 'Operations Management' as it is closely related to the field and mechanical engineers can easily apply the techniques they learn.

However that does not mean that you are nit eligible for other domains. It completely depends on your interest and you can choose any field you want to do MBA in.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck!

Not at all, nothing is tough neither finance or marketing or HR. If you have an interest or passion towards any field you will easily learn and do well in it.
