which btech course will be good,easy and helpful for UPSC CSE Aspirant??

Actually Earlier I was ready to opt CSE Btech but now as I'm decided what I want . So, now my confusion is b/w agriculture and chemical engg I'm not able to decide b/w them. Which will be more efficient ? Which have the more job opportunities? Which will be more scoring & help in future ? are my biggest q . It would really b kind of you if u can help m out by answering my doubts regarding the same.

shreyarai1472 Look, between chemical engineering and agriculture, UPSC only has agriculture as its optional paper, now to answer your question if you are solely focused on UPSC part, agriculture may help you regarding covering optional part, and when it comes to job opportunities, both have scope but it also depends on your areas of interest, with agriculture you can find also opportunities in banking sector, there are lot of scope pertaining to agriculture department, with chemical engineering there are recruitment in private as well as public sectors, you may also qualify GATE, see UPSC is more humanities oriented there's no doubt about this but this exam has got extensive syllabus, and I want to tell you as per previous year trends many engineering aspirants have qualified for this exam, some have few years of work experience and then appeared for the exam, so you may follow this route as well, yes we may argue that humanities students are already well acquainted with the syllabus which science students aren't, but then as I told you qualifying UPSC is all about planning, preparation with single-minded focus and dedication, if you have inclination towards learning more about the country, you'll enjoy your preparation process, such as reading history, geography, economics, polity etc. Also, it's good to have a back up plan, so choose your options accordingly.
