Hi, Both colleges are very known Kanpur Institute of Technology was established in 2004 and Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology was established in 1999. Both are private colleges and both are good but selection of colleges depends on course you want to pursue and your interests. You should also choose the college based on the factors like proximity from home, location, hostel facility, etc. I would suggest to go for MPIT.

But maharana pratap university is a bit better grown university with different branches at different plces. This would be better than the former one.
