AIIMS Patna was founded and started it's academic schedule in 2012. It's a fairly new institution, currently mentored by AIIMS New Delhi. Being an AIIMS, it will definitely be one of the top institutes within the coming 5-6 years.

It usually takes a medical college 5-6 years, that is, until the first batch passes out to gain a strong foothold.

KMC Manipal, on the contrary has been a top private college(the second best private institution in the nation, only behind CMC Vellore). It costs a lot more to study at KMC. However, currently, it is better to go for Kasturba Medical College, Manipal if money is not a problem

Hey Archi,

IGIMS -

In MBBS there's no question of placement but for your internship, IGIMS is one of the best place to avail.

IGIMS will not disappoint you as senior are great here and quite helpful. No ragging culture ( ok.. a little bit)is present. You will get lots of opportunities for personality development. Life is a bit hectic here than other colleges but that's for better in long run.

Faculty of this college is great among the colleges in Bihar and also if compared to other colleges in India.

KMC Manipal -

There are no placements from the college but internships available are brilliant. Generally, students after graduating setup there own clinics or start working in hospitals. Many go for the masters and doctorate degrees. Some excellent students who complete their PhD from the college itself are offered placement in the college, either as doctors in the hospital or as teachers in the college.

The faculty of this college is well experienced and hard working. You will get some amazing teachers who have doctorate in their respective fields and have written a couple of research papers and are highly qualified. Their methodologies of teaching is very nice and is practical and student friendly. Their approach is very simple for a student to follow. What's even better is that there are cameras in the class which record lectures so that students who miss their lectures can see them later.

The above given information is based on the review taken by the passed out students from the respective colleges, hope this helps.
Good luck!
