IISWBM, Kolkata was established in 1953 and is the first Asian school to offer an MBA degree. It has been consistently ranked as one of the better institutes for MBA by Economic times, Business world etc.

MNNIT, Allahabad is primarily an engineering college. However, the MBA programme from MNNIT is well recognized as well. It is one of the National Institutes of India.
