hello mohammed imran,

As the full spectrum of visible light travels through a prism, the wavelengths separate into the colors of the rainbow because each color is a different wavelength. Violet has the shortest wavelength, at around 380 nanometers, and red has the longest wavelength , at around 700 nanometers.  When all the waves are seen together, they make white light. Ultraviolet (UV) light—is radiation with a wavelength shorter than that of visible light, but longer than X-rays, in the range 10 nm to 400 .

hope this information helps..

all the best for your bright future

Hi,

Red colour has the longest wavelength of about 625-740 nanometers. Its frequency range is 400-484 THz. It is a primary colour in RGB and CMYK color model. Violet has the shortest wavelength with 380-450 nanomaters. Its frequency range is 688-789 THz.

As Red has longest wavelength it has lowest energy and shortest frequency; vice versa for violet as it has shortest wavelength its energy and frequency are highest.

Hope this addresses.
