which competitive exam should I do for taking admission in b.sc CS

Eligibility criteria -

For seeking admission in B.Sc. Computer Science, the student must have cleared higher secondary grade (10+2) from a recognized board.

For lateral entry, some colleges offer admission in the 2nd  year of the program, for which the student must have minimum 75% marks in the previous year of the program in the same discipline or 3 year diploma in the technical field after 10th standard.

Admission process -

Most Universities grant merit-based admission to the B.Sc. Computer Science program. The application forms are made available in the months of May and June. In the application forms, students mark their preference for Computer Science.

Some of the top entrance tests conducted for admission to the course in India are:

1. AIEEE: All India Engineering Entrance Examination.

2. AICET: All India Common Entrance Test.

3. IIT JEE: IIT Joint Entrance Examination

4. JNU: Engineering Entrance Exam.

Hello Aspirant

The admission for Bsc is mostly done through 12th Merit score!There are only a few colleges that take there own aptitude test.If you are in general category you will require minimum of 60% in your 12th and in case of sc/st you will need 55%.

Competitive exams are needed for taking admission in Btech you are then required to give(IIT JEE ,and various cet)

But as long as BSC is concerned there is no competitive exam .Still you can ask the college if they have that criteria or not
