Which degree is required for software engineer after taking computer science in science stream?

Hi there,

One must get bachelor of technology in computer science (B.tech)  after 12th standard or bachelor in computer application (BCA) fron a recognized university to pursue their career as software engineer.

B.tech:

It is a four year full time undergraduate porgramme.

Eligibility criteria of B.tech:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized board.

Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks  in 10+2 standard.

BCA:

It is a three year full time undergraduate programme.

Eligibility criteria of BCA:

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 standard form a recognized board with maths as their main subject.

Candidates must have secured 50% in their 10+2 standard.
